The Digital Arts and Design specialisation trains digital designers and artists capable of combining technical skills with a critical artistic approach to technology. This multidisciplinary programme explores the digital realm through three main areas: creative coding, web/net art, and video game arts.
Over three years, the specialisation gradually helps students develop a unique identity. The first year introduces the fundamentals: web development, computer graphics and game design. The second year deepens experimentation through media archaeology, net art and graphic design, alternating between technical and artistic approaches. The third year focuses on interactivity, new digital narratives, virtual reality and emerging technologies (AI, blockchains, etc.).
The curriculum combines practical workshops and theoretical lectures: creative coding, 3D modelling with Blender and Unity, interface design, typography, digital publishing, and reflections on media writing and theory. Students master a variety of languages and explore practices ranging from installation art to interactive creation.
This course provides an ideal foundation for progression to a Master’s degree at any institution specialising in digital design and media, equipping graduates with a solid artistic grounding, strong technical skills and a critical perspective on contemporary technologies.
