A partnership between ESAD Orléans and the CFA des Universités Centre – Val de Loire
At the start of the 2025 academic year, ESAD Orléans launched its MA apprenticeship programmes in partnership with the CFA des Universités Centre – Val de Loire.
For its MA programme, ESAD Orléans offers 2 specialisations and 4 study pathways:
- Specialisation: Common Design
– Pathway Arts, Crafts and Computation
– Pathway Design et Écosystèmes - Specialisation: Media Design
– Pathway Jeu vidéo et Réalités Virtuelles
– Pathway Médiation Image
Training objectives
The introduction of the MA and its various pathways to apprenticeship training aims to prepare prospective artists and designers for future careers – whether emerging or in high demand – by meeting business needs through a combination of solid theoretical knowledge and practical artistic and entrepreneurial skills.
Trained in design project methods and aware of digital tools and technological and environmental challenges, the apprentice will be tasked with carrying out a variety of roles: designing innovative projects, creating new roles related to AI and mixed realities, managing design projects, providing artistic direction, and more.
Whilst the distinctive feature of the course at ESAD Orléans lies primarily in enabling students to carve out their own career paths in line with constantly evolving technological and societal challenges, students are nonetheless trained for specific professions. Graduates are therefore well-equipped to join any organisation involved in the design and art fields taught at our school:
– in the field of design: digital publishing, video games, image and sound production, architecture, scenography, urban and public space design, product design, communication, graphic design, etc.
– in the field of art: all areas of creative practice: artists (including photographers, videographers, filmmakers, etc.) and exhibition and dissemination (exhibition venues, associations, galleries
